Jennifer is the founder of The Aftermath Project, a blog dedicated to sharing the long-term impact of medical injury, delayed diagnosis, and the legal realities that often follow.
In 2019, what was meant to be a routine surgery changed the course of her life. Complications led to chronic pain, interstitial cystitis, and years of navigating both the medical system and the complexities of malpractice law. Through that journey, she discovered how often legal timelines fail to reflect medical reality, especially when injuries unfold slowly.
Sharing this story has not been easy. For a long time, much of it remained private. But Jennifer chose to speak openly with the hope that her experience might help others feel less alone, more informed, and better prepared to advocate for themselves.
Her writing blends personal narrative, faith, forgiveness, and advocacy, shining light on the gap between how bodies heal and how the law keeps time.
When she’s not writing, Jennifer is a wife, a mother, and a healthcare professional who believes deeply in compassion, accountability, and the power of informed patients.
